Surgery removed 90% of it in Jan. 08. We pray that by the grace of God, the chemotherapy with destroy/eradicate the remaining bits. Radiation of the brain at her age will cause more and more loss of intelligence as time passes, so we want to avoid that if possible. Please pray for her complete healing. She will have an MRI this coming Sunday, April 27th. Please pray that the results show the abnormal areas have completely disappeared. She has two more rounds of chemo, followed by stem cell rescue, to go through. Please, please pray that this treatment cures her completely and that she live cancer free into her golden years. She is our only child. She is special. The percentage of those cured with this diagnosis is not great, but we believe she will be an example of the miracles God grants. From: Melanie My uncle Jeff has been struggling with and fighting Lymphoma for over three years. He has been through numerous surgeries and radiation and chemotherapy treatments. He has had multiple stem cell transplants. Currently he is fighting graft vs. host disease and has meningitis. They are trying the fifth and last antibiotic (10-15% chance of working) and have nothing left to try after this treatment. If the antibiotic does not work he will be pronounced terminal.
