Fr. Paul Cullen, O.S.M. dies
Fr. Paul Cullen, O.S.M., a solemn professed friar and priest, died Friday, February 10, 2012, at Annunciata Priory, Chicago, IL. He was seventy-two years of age and a priest for forty-six years. He was born August 9, 1939, in Stewartstown, County Tyrone, Ireland. He entered the Servite Order in 1957 in Benburb, Ireland, and was ordained a priest in 1965 in Brussels, Belgium. For the past ten years, Fr. Cullen was the pastor of Annunciata Parish in Chicago.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 20, 2012, from 2:00 – 9:00pm at Annunciata Church, 11128 S. Avenue G, Chicago. The funeral Mass will be held at Annunciata Church, Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 10:00am, with interment in Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
